8.    Discussion of payment for facilitators and assistants. Should there be a distinction between the payment of primary facilitators and co-facilitators or assistants who take over when the other person isn't present.

á      Primary facilitator, does intake, follows family, receives regular supervision, determinations about facilitation needs of family: $45/hr session;

á      Co-facilitator, working in teams, $30 each

á      Discussion of paying Co-facilitator working on her own, $37.50 (This is for example if Ray or Nancy starts a family, brings in Jean). Board voted to keep the status quo Ð paying $45/session if only 1 of 2 co-facilitators is present.

á      Assistant working as an independent contractor who takes over session on her own would earn $30/session.

9.    Tara is being paid $20/hour as an employee. When she videotapes, she is volunteering. When she is assisting sessions or doing other work for BEBA, she is paid $20/hour. BEBA has no other assistants. In the past, assistants have not been paid.
